Galicayo Festival

One of the celebrated festivals of Manaoag,Pangasinan is the Galicayo Festival. The word galicayo means “come here” and it seems to be calling people to go together for a unique celebration of faith, culture and arts in honor of Our Lady of Manaoag. This is celebrated by the town from December 1st up to 9th every year. Moreover, it is highlighted by different events such as street-dancing competitions, praise fests by different religious groups, festival of Pangasinan cuisine, lantern parades, street rave parties and Bayanihan Dancers Handog Sayaw kay Inay Maria.
Galicayo Festival invites people not only from Manaoag but also from other towns to be bonded together in faith, celebration and thanksgiving for Virgin Mary’s grace and love to everyone.
