Our Lady of Manaoag Fiesta
Manaoag being the Pilgrimage Center of the North has a festival named Our Lady of Manaoag Fiesta. The primary feast or summer feast of Our Lady of Manaoag is celebrated on the third Wednesday of the Easter Season. This event coincides with celebration of the town’s fiesta and in the same way reminisces the canonical coronation of the Virgin Mary last 1926. In view of this, a long preparation of the church and the local government unit are combined in honor of the faith and thanksgiving for Our Lady of Manaoag.
On the other hand, the October feast is celebrated in relation to her title as our Lady of the Rosary every first Sunday of October. The month of October is universally observed as the month of Holy Rosary where people are encouraged to do daily rosary and meditate on mysteries of the holy rosary right after. This event reminds people to strengthen their faith in the God Almighty through their relationship to Virgin Mary. On the other side it promotes unity, social interaction and celebration of culture and unending faith.
